We had successfully completed a handful of high-profile hero videos for Brewer Science, but we wanted to dig deeper with a short series of hub videos designed to explain key concepts and position our people as experts in the field.
The right tool for the right job
This project is a great example of adapting the resources to fit the need. While high-impact branding pieces like the Multilayer and DSA videos require more investment in order to make a strong statement to a broad audience, an ongoing series of educational videos is being replenished more often and can be streamlined to achieve the desired impact with a smaller budget (think economies of scale). For this project, we shot all the interviews in one sitting, which took less than two hours and made the best use of our interviewee’s time. We then worked on a staggered release schedule to edit each segment down and add the extra 3-D visuals.
