After producing several high-profile video pieces at Brewer Science that focused on different subjects, we realized we hadn’t really said much about the company’s flagship technology yet. We had talked a lot about innovation, as well as the history of the company, but we had left a gap in the messaging. We realized we were missing a great opportunity to position the company as a world-class producer of semiconductor materials, so I made the pitch for our next hero project to feature the company’s multilayer lithography systems.

Showing the viewer how multilayer lithography works is only part of the story — there are multiple layers (get it?) of narrative that have been woven together to create a strong brand message. The video uses its main subject as a real-world example of the tenacity and perseverance that makes Brewer Science a leader in its industry. If everything works like it should, the viewer will come away with the impression that, one way or another, this company will drag the industry kicking and screaming to a future where they are better off. Not to mention they are staffed by some brilliant technologists who clearly know what they’re doing. Finally, much of the B-roll features the company’s state-of-the-art high-volume manufacturing facilities, further cementing their perception as a leading supplier to the semiconductor industry.
